Happy 2014 everyone! Hope everyone has had a blast on New Year's eve and are all ready with your lists of resolutions to begin the new year. I'm not sure how long mine is going to last me, cutting down on online shopping is pretty high on that list, and we all know how much of a sucker I am for ASOS sales.

I wanted to start the year with a bang, so I decided on this quirky geometric pattern I've been lusting after for nearly a year now. Again, the artists at The Nail Artelier have not failed in expectations at all, I am absolutely smitten with the results. I was looking for the perfect time to sport these fun, loud nails and I've found the perfect occasion! I first saw them on Momoko Ogihara's instagram account, the magic behind Japanese mode fashion line, MURUA, and while I've changed up the colour of the disco ball thinggums, everything else is pretty much the same.

2013 has given me so much to be grateful for. Thank you for being uplifting in lessons, wise in teachings, plentiful in laughter, endless in friendship, open-hearted with forgiveness and generous with love.
